Sir Alex Ferguson Finally Calls For Ole Solskjaer’s Sack Following Disgrace At Old Trafford

Sir Alex Ferguson was definitely filled with sadness as United were brutally molested by Liverpool

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is under a lot of pressure at Manchester United after his side were heavily beaten by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

A hat-trick from Mohamed Salah, as well as goals from Naby Keita and Diogo Jota, were enough to condemn the Red Devils to an embarrassing 5-0 defeat at the hands of one of their closest rivals.

The defeat means that United are now on 14 points after nine games, already eight adrift from early leaders Chelsea.

Solskjaer has had some leeway with results on account of his legendary status at United as a player, but now that his current team are strongly underperforming, speculation about his job is mounting, and there are suggestions that the club could part ways with him in the near future.

Whether that happens before United face Tottenham on October 30 remains to be seen, but with that in mind, it’s worth considering who could be in charge for that fixture and thereafter.

Following the loss, Sir Alex Ferguson was quizzed on the result; “It’s a very poor performance. Not good for anyone at all.

“The team was very bad all round. Maybe it’s time to a change. Maybe it’s not just working.

“The loss today says alot and we need to get things fixed as soon as possible cause the Champions League games are coming and we need to get into the knockout stages.
