The Norwegian is linked to a move to Stamford Bridge after revealing to his club of his exit desires
Erling Haaland is said likely to exit Dortmund come next transfer window with Chelsea among the many club lined up for his signature.
The Blues tried their possible best to sign Haaland during the summer transfer window but unfortunately Dortmund were keen on their decision to keep Haaland.
This even saw the Germans going against their normal way of always going for the money, like they did on Lewandowski, Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembele and many others.
According to the club director, Jadon Sancho’s sale was instrumental to this decision as they didn’t want to lose two key players in one transfer window.
But with Haaland having told ahead of time of his plans to leave the club, Dortmund are already searching for replacements.
This brings Chelsea into the front page as they are reportedly still interested in signing the youngster.
Following comments from Tuchel during an interview, it’s vivid Chelsea could still go back on a chase to compete for his signature.
But will they be able to agree to his wage demands as it’s stated that Haaland wants €30m per year in any transfer he make in 2022.
This rounds off to approximately 576k per week pay which would also mean him becoming the highest paid Premier League player if he happens to join Chelsea afterwards.
Mino Raiola is known to be a problematic agent and only him maybe Chelsea’s obstacle due to his outrageous demands.
Currently, Chelsea strikers, Lukaku and Werner are both injured and this could fire up Chelsea’s push to land a replacement.
