Ronaldo’s Siiiuuu Celebration has become so popular as many footballers now adopt it in respect to the Portuguese
The Portuguese has come to shed light on what his strange sound celebration means as many already adopted it without actually know how it came about.
This came after the Red Devils stole a stunning victory from behind during clash with Atalanta yesterday.
Just like many of his past UEFA Champions League games when he plays to be the hero, Ronaldo was majorly instrumental to the victory on Wednesday night as he scored the winning goal of the game.
United fell disappointedly to a first half 2-0 loss but was bold to fight back in the second 45minutes, as Rashford and Harry Maguire also made it to the score sheet.
Just right after the game, United’s Jesse Lingard in an interview disclosed what Ronaldo told him his ‘Siiiuuu’ celebration actually means and how he came about it.
“He [Ronaldo] said ‘do you know what it [sui] means?’ I said ‘not really’ and he said ‘it means yes but they say ‘sí’ and I say ‘SIIUUU’,” Lingard said.
In addition, Jesse continued saying; “I was trying to learn Spanish once, but the woman tried to give me homework… I was like ‘ughhhh’ then I stopped after that.”
Jesse is clearly seen as one of the many footballers who idolizes Ronaldo as he has even partaken in the ‘siiiuuu’ celebration scoring in England’s game months back.
